Students from Central Saint Martins’ BA (Hons) Textile course took part in project using yarn and fabric supplied by The Club Masters of Linen and CELC members.
Weave and print work for Home Interiors and Fashion was presented by students from this leading British university. Their reward, as guests of CELC Club Masters of Linen, was a two-day visit in July to flax fields, spinning and weaving mills in France & Belgium.
Richard Ose Ikhide won first prize for his stunning prints inspired by his Nigerian roots. Anoushka Seewoogoolam from Martinique, Danish student Cecilie Elisabeth Rudolph and Antonio Castro from Portugal were also recognised for their outstanding work for this innovation project.
