Arapahos & Grand Canyon
Pierre Frey’s latest collection, ARAPAHOS (fabric) and GRAND CANYON (wallpaper), takes us from the Rocky Mountains and the Great Plains to the discovery of Native American nations where tribes live in harmony with nature and a deep connection to the spirit world.
The imagination and reinterpretation of motifs have been modernized in the combination of the collection’s drawings and color range. The shades respond accordingly- at once traditional with ocher and blue while also audacious and contemporary with blends of violet water-lily, mimosa and emerald green.
Many drawings from the Arapahos & Grand Canyon collection are the result of a collaboration with students from the Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs in Paris.
